LET US FEED

Food is one of the basic necessities of life. Food contains nutrients—substances essential for the growth, repair, and maintenance of body tissues and for the regulation of vital processes.

People are faced with lots of problems daily and not having enough money to meet basic needs including food, clothing and shelter is a major problem and concern. With this we can provide food and other reliefs materials to vulnerable, weak, displaced, and improving the quality of life of children and women currently living in abject poverty in rural communities.

Education is a key factor in the welfare of children; and it has a large effect on a country’s economy and the overall health on its citizen. We believe education goes a long way and investing in child’s education is one of our most important goal in the organisation.

Overtime we have found out that due to poor parental backgrounds most children living in the rural communities are faced with lot of constraints, some of them walk a mile barefooted, it is also difficult for a parents to buy textbooks, notebooks, or either sew good uniforms for the children, in other cases these children are sometimes forced into children labour while others do not believe in education or see the need for it.

We believes that education is a powerful weapon, it is the only true long term strategy for a better life because its can reduce poverty; create sustainable change, and paves way for a better future. Through this project we ensure they are educated, their rights are protected and preserved , boost, enhance and harness child education at the elementary level , promote growth, academic gains, improve learning process and play a toll effect in the lives of every child by giving them a chance of creating a better future.

OF ONE HAND

This project is specifically designed and devoted to care for orphan children who, for various reasons, cannot be cared for by their biological families, either they are deceased, absent , abusive, mentally ill or unwilling to care for them, through this project we can give them a quality live, ensure they live in an healthy environment and live their lives to the fullest.

I. Send a Box of Love -
In many orphanages in Nigeria and during those volunteer visits, the one thing that we have noted is that kids often come to the orphanage with only the clothes that they were wearing, and nothing else. Often times the only personal belonging that children have in these shelters is a toothbrush. Sending a box of love means giving out clothes, toys, books, Stationaries and everything a child needs. So therefore taking this action to put smiles in the faces of the orphan child , will not only along way but also play a major role in terms of functional well being of the child.

II. Sponsor an Orphan -
We live busy lives, and often forget the empty void that is in the heart of every orphan child. While many of us grew up in loving families, orphans yearn to find that family to call their own. Sponsor an orphan through school and any other means either by adopting, becoming a host or rather share their story.

III. Financial Aid -
Some Orphanages are suffering from lack of basic amenities / necessities. Many are under staffed , low paid and many of the staffs/volunteers do not have the training skills to meet up the emotional and physical need of a child placed in their care. As a society we must make sure that those who make it their life’s calling to help children in these institutions are also treated with dignity. These financial and training needs are met if we as a society choose to do a little effort to help those who help the children in need. By supporting this cause, financially we are able to do more and project live long living amongst every orphan child.

IV. Pray for an Orphan -
One of the first things that you may learn when you decide to help orphans is that there is many more orphans that you imagine (132 million according to UNICEF). One of the easiest things you can do at this moment is to pray for an orphan child or for the needs of all orphans.

WE LOVE THE OLD

People live with dignity all their life and suddenly one day they are left with no choice but to beg to survive. In many rural villages, many elderly are left alone after their children move to the cities in search of better livelihood.

This program ensures the provision of basic necessities on a daily, social security and dignity to the poor, destitute and incomeless seniors citizens residing in slums and rural areas. This program provides a monthly ration kit and daily commodities including clothes, food, water and free medical checks for the old.

This project is specifically designed to support the quality of life Aged People homes and Aged People in General by financial donations or material donations.

PROJECT TELL

This is one of the growing projects of the organization that supports skill building and empowerment. Rural women are powerful, strong and purposeful women who are deprived by the circumstances of abuse, inequality, and lack of opportunities. These challenges have hindered their personal development, economic empowerment, and community leadership. Rural women are key contributors to agricultural production, food security, climate advocacy, enterprise, and citizenship.

Sadly, the active contribution and the effort of rural women are not recognized and their full potentials underutilized.

Historically, rural women are powerful, strong and purposeful women who are deprived by the circumstances of abuse, inequality, and lack of opportunities. These challenges have hindered their personal development, economic empowerment, and community leadership.

Rural women make a quarter of the world’s population. As UN women executive director said ‘rural women are the invisible mainstay of community resilience and sustainability.’ Rural women are key contributors to agricultural production, food security, climate advocacy, enterprise, and citizenship. Sadly, the active contribution and the effort of rural women are not recognized and their full potentials underutilized.

When women have empowered they, in turn, contribute to their family’s income and become active change leaders in their communities. It is no gainsaying that if you build a woman, you build a community; and a $1 investment in a woman is a smart investment. When she is empowered, her generation and her family is empowered.

Thus with Project Tell we are able to sustainably empower rural women in skill buildings, vocational training in skills and businesses, create small scale access to finance their businesses , organize mentorship programs and enable them have easy access to health care.

MEDICAL/EMERGENCY AIDS

Because access to care is one of the biggest obstacles for poor people living in rural areas, we ensure to bring care to them through this project via locally hired and managed community health workers – people who can understand the medical and social needs for their neighbours better than anyone else.

They provide medication, surgeries, monitor patients’ treatments regimens and refer the sickest people to clinics or hospitals.
